Disabled and under-employed veterans face a myriad of challenges fitting their skills and disabilities into the common work environment. A group of Austin-based disabled veterans have formed a 501(c)(3) foundation, Our Digital Heroes (ODH) for the purpose of creating opportunities for hard-to-employ veterans. With a mission statement of “Their sacrifice, our commitment,” ODH seeks unique technology application projects, where these veterans can mash-up their existing military skills and experience with high-tech solutions for common government and industry needs.
