COSON is an approved collective management organization for musical works and sound recordings in Nigeria. We ensure right holders earn royalties from the commercial exploitation of their works. We also encourage music users in commercial and/or public places to pay royalties for the works being used. As such we encourage road shows organizers, event hall owners, TV, radio stations, hubs, malls, lounges, hotels, clubs, restaurants and everywhere music in used commercial to get a licence from COSON or face the wrath of the law. Music is property and must be respected. To become a COSON member is easy and free. You can download the form from our website www.cosonng.com, request it via mail, reach out to us on all social media platforms (COSON Naija and COSON Nigeria), pick it up from the COSON House, Ikeja or reach out to any of our consultants nationwide. Remember, COSON membership is absolutely free!!!!!

Global Rights strives to fulfill our vision of a just society worldwide built on the fundamental principles of human rights. Founded in 1978, Global Rights is a human rights organization working in partnership with local activists in Africa, Asia, and Latin America to build the grass roots movements that promote and protect the rights of marginalized populations. Through teaching and training individual organizations and coalitions, we strengthen partners to document and expose human rights abuses, conduct community outreach and mobilization, advocate for legal and policy reform, and provide legal and paralegal services.
