Shelters to Shutters is a national 501(c)3 organization providing employment and housing opportunities to individuals at risk or experiencing homelessness by engaging real estate/property management leaders and encouraging action within their communities. We work directly in local communities to identify and provide pre-screened, vetted job candidates that match the employment criteria that our Property Management Partners are looking for. The result is an innovative program that provides mentorship for careers in property management, along with full-time employment and housing opportunities for formerly homeless individuals. We assist veterans, domestic violence survivors and other deserving individuals transition from the challenge of being homeless to a life of self-sufficiency. All Shelters to Shutters program participants are driven and ready-to-work! Contact us to learn more about how you can get involved. kristen.poteet@shelterstoshutters.org. We have earned a platinum seal of transparency on Guidestar - check out our profile here: https://www.guidestar.org/profile/47-1004312
