MobileODT is driven by a mission: to deliver affordable, practical healthcare innovation and make a difference in the world. Now. We do it through the creation of breakthrough optical diagnostic devices and software services focused on early cancer detection and, soon, a range of other medical purposes. We deliver it at a cost that enables rapid uptake and wide utilization everywhere, but particularly in low-resource settings, where the need is most acute and the impact can be immediate.
DISRUPTING TO ADVANCE HEALTHCARE
MobileODT is blazing a path similar to disruptive technologies in other markets:
We leverage the ubiquity and native capability of smartphones to do something that’s never been done before, replacing complex and cost-prohibitive systems with simplicity and affordability.
We create highly advanced optical technology components to turn the smartphone into a mobile, easy-to-use point-of-care tool to help detect cancer and capture a range of biomedical images for diagnostic and other analytical purposes.
And we develop intuitive app-based programs to operate our devices and connect to a cloud-based software platform that enables exciting capabilities that could not be imagined just a few years ago — from immediate remote expert consultations to improved case management and, importantly, to easy integration with the range of emerging electronic health records programs.
FIRST FOCUS: CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING
MobileODT’s technology is a potentially game-changing solution to reduce cervical cancer, a global health priority that requires approximately 700 million screenings per year. Our Cervical Cancer Screening System has met with enthusiastic response in eight pilot markets around the world.

Humanity doesnt need more tweaks: In business, we accept that risk is the price of big returns, so why is it that when it comes to impact its often the opposite — bold ideas get passed over because they seem "too risky"?
Were comfortable with the kind of risk it takes to build something transformational. We believe the biggest leaps forward come from backing ambitious bets, not playing it safe.
We back founders early, when everything is still fragile, messy, and unproven.
