We inspire students for Synthetic Biology by growing a lasting community, promoting hands-on experience and enabling the exploration of Applied Science – Together. SynBio UZH is a student association at the University of Zurich comprised of mostly Bachelor students in Life Sciences. The first iGEM team of UZH founded this association in 2019 together with fellow students. Our main goal is to provide a space where we can support and guide the future iGEM teams of our University. We also strive to connect students from different fields in Life Sciences and spark their interest for synthetic biology. By providing a platform to get research experience and meet professionals we can support motivated and ambitious students in their science careers, in academia or industry.
