Founded in 2009, HT currently operates over 8,600 sites across Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Ghana, Republic of Congo, South Africa and Senegal. Following recent acquisition agreements and subject to regulatory approvals, Helios Towers expects to establish a presence in five new markets across Africa and the Middle East over the next 12 months.
