Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is a nonprofit organization that delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed-stage, science- and technology-based companies. The nine-month program employs an objectives-based mentoring process to enhance the performance of technical founders who learn from the insights of experienced entrepreneurs, with the goal of maximizing equity-value creation. Founded by Professor Ajay Agrawal in 2012 at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, the program has expanded and now has 11 sites across six countries: Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Halifax, Paris, Madison, Seattle, Estonia, Berlin, and Melbourne. The program combines 5 elements to help companies transition from science projects to scalable and financeable companies: - An emphasis on objective-setting, helping companies focus on what’s most important to their business - Focused mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs who have founded, led, and sold significant tech companies - Technical advice from world-leading scientists, engineers, and economists - Hands-on support from top business students, who embed within the company to provide business support - Opportunities to raise capital, including angels and VCs from Europe and North America The successful commercialization of cutting-edge science and technology achieved through the program has led to the creation of over CAD $35 billion in equity value.

In 68 a small studio in London changed the face of the recording industry. Today we build on our heritage to inspire a new generation of musicians. Discover how we aim to revolutionise the way music is made. Practiced by amateurs and professionals in innumerable styles all over the world, music moves people across all nations and cultures. At Trident Cloud, helping all tomorrow’s rockstars, soul singers, guitar heroes, street poets and more to reach today’s audience is at the heart of our vision and aims. We want to make it free and easy for everyone to express their creative side and work together to record musical ideas wherever they are be it on the bus, train, at home, in a coffee shop or any other place inspiration strikes. Good ideas come from people, but great ideas come from people working together. Our goal is to make music creation a truly shared experience from idea to execution. Trident Cloud is developing a software platform and applications to enable artists to record and collaborate together around the world. Our first application, Trackd is an 8-Track Ideas Studio in your pocket Until Trackd the process of recording was yet to be fully realised on mobile. Trackd has been designed with the mobile experience at its core from the interface to the revenue model.
