Range Networks, the worldwide leader in software-based mobile communications, is driven by a simple mission: to bring mobile communications to the entire world.
More than two billion people lack access to reliable, affordable, mobile phones, particularly in developing countries. Studies have shown repeatedly that mobile service drives GDP and per-capita income growth. Among the benefits, expanding a country’s mobile network creates jobs, expands commerce, and provides millions with access to electronic banking. It has also been shown to improve health care and increase access to education. As a major cloud-computing company recently announced: “Anywhere you have a phone and a tablet [computer], you can now have access to the world banking community.” Range Networks makes mobile service available and affordable to anyone, anywhere around the world.
Today, the 25% of the world who don’t have access to mobile technology no longer need to go without. Although most people can own a mobile phone, the large custom equipment suppliers do not pursue the remote and smaller market segments because the cost of their custom hardware forces them to charge a price the local residents can’t afford. If they charge a lower price, they can’t meet their profit goals. As a result, they focus their efforts on providing the newest service to high-density population centers: the major cities around the world.
Range Networks fundamentally changes this equation. Range software uses inexpensive, off-the-shelf hardware to build a full-featured profitable mobile network, while charging a price that almost any customer can afford.
Our global ecosystem of partners sell, install and support our low-cost, mobile networks. Range is linking mobile networks around the world, with proven results in Mexico, Latin America, Indonesia, Asia, Europe and Africa.

Living Goods aims to save lives at scale by supporting digitally empowered community health workers (CHWs). We work with governments and partners to leverage smart mobile technology, rigorously strengthen performance, and relentlessly innovate to cost-effectively deliver high-quality, impactful health services.
Effective community health programs save lives. We leverage a powerful combination of catalytic technology, high-impact training, and quality treatments that empower government CHWs to deliver quality care to their neighbors’ doorsteps. These CHWs also earn meaningful compensation and enhance their stature in the process, reinforcing a virtuous cycle of trust. We are deeply focused on systemic change, and partner with governments and other partners to transform access to primary health care for mothers and children. We put patients first and strive to create a world in which every mother gives birth safely and no child dies from an easily treatable–or preventable–diseases like malaria, pneumonia, or diarrhea. We believe universal health care is possible when CHWs are equipped to serve as the engine for stronger health systems.
Interested in joining Living Goods?
Do you want your work to matter? Do you want to use your skills to make a difference, not just a living? Do you want to improve millions of lives, including your own? We work to reinvent how we improve the lives of the under-served. We think big, but operate small and nimble. We train community health workers to bring life-saving health care to people’s doorsteps.
At Living Goods, you will have the chance to apply your ideas and creativity at work every day. If you work well in a dynamic collaborative culture, set high standards, and meet challenges with determination and a sense of humor, you’ll thrive here!

Teach For All (www.teachforall.org) supports and connects a global network of independent organizations working around the world to ensure that every child has access to an equitable and excellent education. Each organization in the network, conceived and launched by a local entrepreneur, enlists its nation’s most promising leaders to teach in high-need areas for two years, and, in the long-term, drive systemic changes from within and outside of the education sector.
Teach For All is catalyzing an international movement to expand educational opportunity. At the center of this network, Teach For All plays a unique role: it helps local organizations overcome common challenges by providing direct support services and serving as a hub for the exchange of best practices. In addition to delivering support to local organizations, Teach For All maximizes local impact on educational need by directly connecting the teaching participants and alumni of its international network programs through conferences and online forums.
