Freenome is a high-growth biotech company on a mission since 2014 to create tools that empower everyone to prevent, detect, and treat their disease. To achieve this mission, Freenome is developing next-generation blood tests to detect cancer in its earliest, most treatable stages using our multiomics platform and machine learning techniques. Our first blood test will detect early-stage colorectal cancer and advanced adenomas. We have raised more than $1.1 billion from leading investors like Perceptive Advisors, RA Capital Management, Roche Venture Fund, Kaiser Permanente, Novartis and the American Cancer Society’s BrightEdge Ventures. A ‘Freenomer’ is a mission-driven employee who is fueled by the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients lives, who thrives in a culture of respect and cross collaboration, and whose work makes a significant impact on the company and their career.

Kona Medical, Inc., founded in 2009 and privately held, has developed an innovative and non-invasive therapy for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and other disorders. Kona Medical is based in Bellevue, Washington and is actively supported by leading medical technology investors. The flagship product, the Surround Sound® Hypertension Therapy System provides a one-time, non-invasive therapy for hypertension using ultrasound imaging to robotically guide the delivery of focused ultrasound energy for renal denervation (RDN). The procedure eliminates the need for radiation, contrast media, shielding or the Cath lab and reduces the cost and complexity of other technologies. Clinical trials have shown promise in significantly reducing blood pressure with this simple procedure and also provide an excellent safety profile. Note: Kona Medical’s technology is investigational and is not yet approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.
