Alma Angels is a diverse and active community with a bold mission: Generate $1 trillion in women-led wealth by 2050. Since 2020, we have brought together and trained over 500 angel investors who have invested into 200+ women (co)founders building tech or IP-rich ventures with global ambitions. These companies have gone on to raise more than £300m to date. Alma Angels is committed to training 10,000 angels and backing 10,000 women founders by 2035.

We are building and supporting the ecosystem at the intersection of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. We act as connector, curator and convener. We link current and aspiring founders with what they need to build and make sure investors get in front of the right opportunities at the right time. We share useful resources and bring communities together to create a better way of building businesses with tech. Based in Brighton by the sea, we are part of broader (global) movements in responsible tech, sustainable business and inclusive innovation. We “supportively challenge” the tech industry (ourselves included) to: - diversify our representation - build our technology products and our organisations with ethical and inclusive principles and actions - critically assess the systemic impact of our work on an ongoing basis - maintain high standards of execution, behaviour and contribution to society
