YSSO was founded in 2020 after more than 30 years of work in jewellery design, and having developed an extensive archive of thematic designs during that time. YSSO, as a name, is derived from the word gold in Greek, and is meant to be a blank canvas for you to create your own stories for whatever you imagine yourself to be. YSSO aims to bring the individuality of unique design and Greek craftsmanship abroad. The founders, mother and daughter, both co-design jewellery to this day. Community is very important to YSSO and encouraging a conversation around sustainability, and sourcing is something we champion. A shared vision of modern jewellery making characterises YSSOs timeless designs which seamlessly merge history and creativity. We believe that one piece of jewellery can make a difference. Therefore we design with that principle in mind - each piece in our collection is created to be a versatile investment that can be worn in a variety of ways. Our jewellery is not meant to be layered or over-purchased. Instead, YSSO pieces are meant to be worn on their own or mixed and matched with other pieces from an existing collection. By investing in one piece, one is investing in a versatile and timeless addition to their jewellery collection that can be worn for years to come. We aim to become a one-stop destination for anyone seeking an extensive range of jewellery designs, catering to a diverse set of tastes and preferences. At YSSO, we aspire to be more than just a jewellery brand; we aim to be a community where people can find pieces that not only add to their personal lifestyle and taste but also represent meaningful moments and memories. YSSO has been featured at British Vogue, Wallpaper* Magazine, Courier, Elle, Country and Townhouse amongst others. Additionally, YSSO has been worn by prominent people in culture and fashion, like Caroline Vreeland, Jourdan Dunn, Ikram Abdi, and Stefania Cristian amongst others.
