T.A.N. is an initiative created for bringing together business people interested in angel investing and mentoring tech startups. As a network we are focused on connecting people with the desire to learn from each other while assisting us to grow and mature the local startup environment. Getting personally involved by investing in and/or mentoring startups is strongly encouraged, but not mandatory for becoming a member. Investments in startups will be structured by those individuals who are interested, with our support. T.A.N. is based and grown from Cluj Startups (non-profit organization) with the mission to support the growth of the local startup ecosystem.

The Romanian Institute of Science and Technology (RIST) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit, independent research institute, founded in 2009. RIST currently performs research on complex systems, computational, theoretical and experimental neuroscience, biologically-inspired robotics, artificial intelligence and dynamical systems.
