Dolores Capital is the family run investment arm of the Johnson family, named after and honoring our beloved Matriarch, Dolores - who taught us that there is no gain without loss, no redemption with out forgiveness, and no ascendence without sacrifice. The Latin root of Dolores means pain, but is often looked at as sacrifice for its roots in reference to the Virgin Mary. Dolores Capital invests in seed stage companies with angel-sized checks, larger investments in growth stage and pre-IPO companies, and partners with emerging managers as an LP. We love to partner with those who understand the value of sacrifice, endurance, and love on the path to success.
