Started in 2008, Rang De is India’s first and pioneering social peer to peer (P2P) lending platform with a mission to provide access to low cost and affordable credit. It leverages the power of empathy and technology and, via its platform, enables individuals to invest in first time borrowers - farmers, entrepreneurs and students from low-income households who are financially excluded. Rang De was supported by ICICI Foundation and Tata Trusts until 2017 and raised more than INR 80 crores from 15,000+ individuals and disbursed it to 65,000 low-income households.  In 2019, the new platform, RangDe.in was launched, a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC P2P), to become the first RBI regulated social peer-to-peer lending platform in India.  Rang De Advantage: Rang De provides a unique opportunity for individuals to make social investments. For a global Indian who wants to contribute not through charity, Rang De’s unique social investing model is an instant hit. Unlike in traditional charity, social investing enables our social investors to redeploy the repayments they receive, thus creating an infinite loop of impact.

A reputed Deemed Private University located in Pilani, Rajasthan, India. BITS Pilani consists of 15 academic departments with a focus on education in engineering and the sciences. The institute was established in its present form in 1964 with a vision to realize Jawaharlal Nehru’s project of nation-building with its emphasis on "science, technology and modernization" . At that time, its transformation from a regional engineering college to a national university was backed by the Ford Foundation and G.D.Birla. MIT provided the technical assistance that was required for this transformation. The institute has developed and administers the all-India computerized entrance test BITSAT (BITS Admission Test), which is the first of its kind in India. The admission is on the basis of merit (as assessed by the BITSAT Examination) and not through any kind of reservation. The institute is privately supported and fully residential. The institute has strong linkages with industry, as can be seen by its off-campus Work Integrated Learning Program(WILP) which enrolled 19,000 students from corporate enterprises in 2009. Practical experience in the industry is in the curriculum as a "Practice School" program, where students work with companies throughout India. BITS has campuses in Pilani (India - Main Campus), Dubai (United Arab Emirates) , Goa (India), Hyderabad (India) and an extension center in Bangalore (India). BITS also has BITSoM (BITS School of Management) and BITS Law School in Mumbai.
