HighView is a selective Student Accelerator program that pairs motivated high school students from low income, underrepresented & first gen backgrounds with leading tech companies in their local communities. Together with our partner companies, HighView offers students exposure to promising career paths, along with 1:1 mentorship, social capital and professional development workshops that help set them up for lifelong success. Our forward-thinking partner companies help shrink historic achievement gaps while creating lucrative professional opportunities (and social mobility) for motivated students from under-resourced communities. Through our mentorship pairings and volunteer presenters, employees are able to make a tangible community impact in an ongoing manner, thereby increasing employee engagement & retention.

No entrepreneur can succeed without a strong network of support. But because of the ways access and opportunity have traditionally been distributed, social entrepreneurs and diverse founders are less likely to know people from top colleges and companies than their counterparts. This means they have less robust networks to draw on for advice, customers, funding, and professional growth. We call this the Relationship Gap. Goodie Nation exists to eliminate the relationship gap that stands in the way of success for too many promising entrepreneurs, especially those who are people of color, women, or arent located in coastal financial centers. By making sure that every entrepreneur, no matter their background or location, can access the relationships they need to thrive, we are building a more sustainable and prosperous future for all. Our super power is the ability to make the right connection at the right time, and we leverage our extensive network to create deep relationships that lead to revenue and funding, less stress, and better CEOs.

Denver Startup Week, founded in 2012, is a celebration of everything entrepreneurial in Denver. The weeklong event is intended to unite the entrepreneurial community in Denver and celebrate the great companies, innovation and ideas happening in the city and the people and inspiration behind them. The core programming is centered on the entrepreneurial community with an emphasis in technology, design, social entrepreneurship, manufacturing and business. Events throughout the week are organized by both the Denver Startup Week Organizing Committee and the community at-large and include sessions, presentations, panels, workshops, happy hours, social events, job fairs and more.

Carlos and Aimara Rodriguez are the co-founders of Function f(x) Wellness. Their non-profit arm, Donks, supports marginalized communities (ranging from at-risk youth, individuals with disabilities, BIPOC communities, and geriatric/older adults) with an emphasis on at-risk youth. Their programs for at-risk youth are developed with Social Emotional Learning, Gang Prevention, and Violence Reduction frameworks combined with progressive and engaging therapeutic movement models that motivate participants. Their programs leverage movement and adventure as a modality to help link vital life lessons with character-building experiences. Through Function, they are providing traditionally overlooked communities the opportunity to take part in the benefits that different disciplines of training and movement bring to the mind, body, and soul.
