Zirconia is an advanced materials company with disruptive products that offer high performance, long-lasting, eco-friendly, low-cost asset preservation coatings for industry and infrastructure. Zirconia’s Ceramic Sealers create answers for never-solved problems in the construction industry. Zirconia makes Ceramic Sealants that behave like cold-poured ceramic. They renew and preserve concrete surfaces by chemically bonding to the concrete, eliminating porosity completely and forming a composite ceramic layer that shields the surface from the environment permanently. This tech is not affected by salt, UV, wet/dry or freeze/thaw cycles, and will not peel, flake, chalk, or delaminate in any manner. This technology provides the first bonded waterproofing, and crack-repair for concrete ever. It also creates a “Biologically Impervious” surface which prevents the proliferation of microbial life, eliminating these hazards for food manufacturing industries. This “green”, water-based technology for concrete can be used to fix concrete bridges, water and sewer pipes, dams, and other engineered structures, making sustainable infrastructure possible. Zirconia has Ceramic Sealants for steel and galvanized steel that stop corrosion permanently, which can be used to preserve our bridge infrastructure and electrical grid. Our newest “Biologically Impervious” touch surface coating, "QuartzSeal Surface Defense", eliminates habitat for microbial life and has multiple improved chemical and physical features which disallow microbial growth on most touch surfaces, including doorknobs, bathroom doors, light switches, machinery, forklifts, pallet jacks, shovels…the list goes on. There has never been a chemistry that bonded to concrete, steel or galvanized steel previously. This is an amazing breakthrough that will allow infrastructure to be built and maintained at lower cost, while also dramatically lowering the toxicity of infrastructure, and creating green jobs.
