Zaphiro is a pioneering Smart Grid company, official spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland. Our team has developed a game-changing smart grid solution, called SynchroGuard, which is the first distribution grid monitoring and automation system based on the most advanced monitoring technology currently available: Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs). SynchroGuard provides full grid visibility, efficiently integrates more renewables and EVs, and reduces the impact of blackouts thanks to unique fault location algorithms.
