Founder Agatha Achindu and co-owner Camila Alves are two women from opposite ends of the world. Growing up as farmers’ daughters, they picked fresh fruit and veggies from their own backyards and their mothers made their family meals from scratch. This foundation of flavor and nutrition helped them grow up healthy, knowing what 'good'​ food tastes like. When they could not find this kind of food for THEIR children here in the U.S., they decided to make it themselves – and share it with other busy moms. Yummy Spoonfuls® frozen organic toddler food is inspired by the freshly homemade food parents wish to feed their children but don’t have the time to make themselves. Our recipes use only organic ingredients you'd find in your kitchen, gently cooked just like you’d make at home. Immediately frozen to lock in nutrients, vitamins and amazing flavor means no sugars, preservatives, additives or artificial ingredients are ever added. Just real food in every yummy bite. Yummy Spoonfuls offers the following gently cooked and flash-frozen recipes for optimal toddler nutrition: Bowls: The combinations of veggies, grains and proteins in each bowl deliver the nutritional balance toddlers need in smaller portions and softer textures - providing the ideal transition to table food and beyond. Big Bowls: These bigger bowls for bigger kids (ages 2+) feature a globally-inspired variety of flavors perfect for training adventurous palates and developing lifelong healthy eating habits.
