In 2009, we established our first salon off Airport Road, Bangalore. Our founder couple – Rahul and Vaijayanti Bhalchandra, IIT graduates turned beauty specialists dreamt of consistently delivering world-class services to all customers at reasonable prices.
Till date, this value continues to strike a chord with our ever-growing band of over 3 lac loyal customers in our 45 salons across Bangalore and Chennai.

Milestones: In 2010, Forbes rated YLG as one of the five hottest start-ups. We partnered with Headmasters UK – a London based hairdressing chain – to launch signature hairstyles that are unique and can be created at any YLG Salon for any customer any time. Since then, globally acclaimed stylists work with us every year to create the YLG international Styles for all our customers.
YLG is the first Salon Chain in India to raise capital from Marquee VC/PE partners Helion Ventures and Everstone Capital.
