Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) is a 1,541 bed, not for profit academic medical center, and the primary teaching site for Yale School of Medicine and Yale School of Nursing.

The hospital has a level one trauma center, comprehensive transplant center, and both a certified heart and stroke center.
