Women of the World connects the dots through people and technology in order to empower women on a global scale and to allow them to become the best version of themselves. The organization serves as a global umbrella and platform for independent cause driven impact investing and fundraising and aims to empower female founders to start their own business, to think across borders and to therefore approach their business with a global mindset in order to meet the UN target with the 17 SDG's. Women of the World also inspires women through technology in the broadest sense of the word by engaging them in East meets West meets North meets South discussions, by organizing annual East meets West meets North meets South female leadership study trips such as to Silicon Valley in 2019 or recently to the UAE around the first ever Women's Pavilion during the World expo in Dubai. I was honored to be leading the 2nd diverse East meets West female leadership delegation to the UAE to objectively create better understanding and to obtain insights about doing business in the UAE and to learn from the local Emirati women. By engaging in discussions with powerful local women we aim to simultaneously bridge the culture gap between the East and West cultures and aim to take away preconceived notions. My motto in life is always if you want to go fast work alone yet if you want to go far work together.
