From the beautiful land of Colombia, one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet, comes WISH. With our planets food systems narrow focus on a few crops, there is a risk that countless varieties of plants could be lost to us forever. We pick plants that corporate agriculture cuts out of the food chain and re-introduce these neglected treasures to our plates in exciting and innovative ways.
Our first product, WISH Fishless Sticks, due to launch in Latin America in 2023, is made from a combination of whole-food biodiverse plants, packed with protein and omega-3, and is free from mercury, antibiotics and soy. WISH Sticks have the texture, flakiness and taste of Fish Fingers with more protein and less fat.
Just three plants account for over fifty per cent of all calories consumed. WISH seeks to rediscover endangered and ancestral plants and express them in magical and creative ways to enhance our health and the prosperity of small farming communities and protect our planets cultural heritage as well as our food security from biodiversity loss.
Restoring our planet’s rich and resplendent biodiversity is key to fighting various issues, including climate change, food security, malnutrition and poverty reduction.
