But they feel lost on the internet because most of the content is in English. 18% of the global population speaks an Indian language whereas only 6% speak English. These numbers point at the potential of an internet that can cater to the Indian language speaker. Democratising knowledge to these language users can go a long way in reducing disparities at various levels. Vokal is trying to bridge this gap through a Q&A based knowledge sharing platform that caters to the Indian language user. We are a young startup that's growing at a ferocious pace and are always looking for young, hungry, ambitious, big thinkers who can move fast.
