Since our inception, Verve Romance (formerly Book+Main) has had one foundational goal: to help readers discover new authors. We were the first technology company to build a first-in-class, robust search engine where readers could search by romance tropes and subgenres to discover author-selected excerpts that matched their mood. A discovery tool that leveled the playing field. A tool based on writing and subject; not cover, author name, or best seller status. Having grown to over 4K published romance authors and registered readers in over 150+ countries, we wanted to take our matchmaking skills to the next level. In the summer of 2023, we launched Book Club Connection. A tech-enabled solution that matches book clubs to titles based on dozens of touch points including preferred genres, subgenres, tropes, and triggers. Book Club Connection intelligently connects titles to vetted, interest-matched book clubs ready to discover new authors.
