Venture for THEM (Tech High-Performers & Entrepreneurial Minorities) is a cohort-based startup accelerator for minority founders. Through our accelerator, startups will receive funding, coaching, mentorship, network opportunities, and various other resources to excel in their early-stage operations.
Our accelerator was conceptualized to combat the biases in the venture capital and technology industries. Although a record-breaking total of $147B has been raised in venture capital deal flow this year, only 1.2% of that was sourced to Black founders (Inc, 2021). Our mission of “invest in a better tomorrow” emphasizes the importance of empowering underrepresented founders – which will create a ripple effect of opportunities for not only founders and investors, but also the users who benefit from their innovation and life-enhancing technology.
