UCOT Pty Ltd is a world first supply chain management ecosystem developed by specialized blockchain and IoT development company Ultimo Digital Technologies. UCOT provides companies with total traceability of the supply chain, independent of any 3rd parties needing to report back to them. It also allows the end consumer to scan a product's packaging to verify that they're receiving the real product and that it wasn't tampered with or counterfeited in the supply chain. UCOT starts with a small IoT sensor which can be embedded in a product's packaging, such as bottle, box, or pallet. The sensor has its own battery life, can communicate in real-time with the internet, and commits the gathered information into a secure blockchain database. UCOT provides total traceability of the supply chain in real-time and reports on shipping conditions, including but not limited to: GPS data to trace and map out the geographical journey. Temperature, humidity, exposure to sunlight and other environmental conditions companies may want to monitor. Whether the contents of the product have been tampered with, removed from the packaging, or are subject to counterfeit or theft.
