The Center for Diverse Leadership in Science (CDLS) is an organization that aims to bring positive disruption to the culture of geosciences and related green STEM disciplines. We do this by providing financial support, training, mentorship, and experiential learning opportunities for people in geosciences, education, and ethnic studies; facilitating collaboration and exchange of structurally excluded students and faculty between different institutions; engaging with tribal members to support equitable exchange that brings together Western STEM and Indigenous knowledge systems; and partnering with community-based organizations to support community-identified priorities and community-led projects.
