ucair is the platform for simple, fast and transparent inspections of photovoltaic plants - from the air. We are using a network of more than 45 drone pilots across Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic, who use drones with attached thermografic cameras to collect radiometric data of our customers’ PV plants. After the flight, they pass on the thermography data to ucair for analysis. In the partially automated evaluation, damages to cells and modules or even complete failures of strings or inverters can be detected based on temperature differences. The results are then processed and presented to the customer in a transparent report, indicating the status of his PV plant and what he needs to do in order to receive the maximum yield.
