Tufts Investment Banking Club (TIBC) was founded in 2021 to address the lack of resources at a non-target school like Tufts for breaking into investment banking. The club is driven by two fundamental objectives: securing junior year summer internships in investment banking for its members and instilling a culture of collaborative success. Members who receive offers are committed to assisting future TIBC members, with the ultimate goal of increasing the presence of Tufts alumni in the financial industry. The results thus far demonstrate our commitment to achieving these goals: For the Classes of 2024-2026, weโ€™ve achieved placement rates of 90%, 96%, and 97%, with 19, 23, and 28 offers, respectively, at top firms across the Street, including Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Centerview Partners, Evercore, and Lazard. TIBC has transformed the finance recruiting landscape at Tufts, building a strong alumni network and expanding opportunities for students. As our presence in the industry grows, so does our ability to pay it forward.
