The company was founded (in New York) in December 2013 and acquired in 2020. Co-Owners are: Raj Seecharran (CEO) Robert Koptiev (President) and Lawrence Levinson (General Counsel)
Raj has over 15 years of experience in investment banking markets and technologies, where he held trading and operations roles in management leveraging technology to drive efficiencies in inefficient markets by optimizing pricing and infrastructure to allow for scalability and capture substantial market share. Raj has adopted this experience across the jewelry industry since 2011, across several ventures in e-commerce, wholesale, and retail product marketing initiatives.
Robert is a 2nd generation jeweler alongside his father in the New York family-owned business Gabriel Jewelry Refining, which has been one of the leading US jewelry wholesale distributors for over 35 years. Robert is responsible for maintaining and expanding the platform’s reach and network, ensuring the company’s strong link with the best names in the luxury industry.
Lawrence, investor and systems engineer, and partner of Rob and Raj in LUXYSOURCE and ZAP-IT. With his law office co-located with TrueFacet NYC Diamond District, Larry brings on board a vast experience handling transaction from the biggest billion+ M&A mega deals, where he commanded over 50 lawyers and 20 law firms, to guiding numerous development stage companies. He achieved a prestigious Magna Cum Laude JD degree from Harvard Law School, BS Engineering from Princeton University, MS Engineering from NYU Poly Engineering and was a Grumman Aerospace Corporation Scholar who worked on the F-14 and E-2C.
