Hemminki started his second company, TILT Biotherapeutics Ltd, with a technology based on his past findings in the lab, but more importantly in the clinic. The research conducted by TILT alone or in collaboration with some of world’s leading research groups with synergic technologies has generated very excellent results. The lead candidate is a clinical stage TNFα/IL2 armed oncolytic adenovirus (TILT-123 or Ad5/3-E2F-delta24-hTNFα-IRES-hIL2). Multiple Phase I clinical trials are ongoing.
