The Investment Banking Academy at The University of Alabama, founded in 2014 by two Alabama alumni working on Wall Street, was created for students interested in pursuing careers in financial services. The Academys purpose is to assist and prepare elite students for the industry, and to establish The University of Alabama as a premier recruiting destination for financial institutions across the country. Since inception, members have secured internships and full-time roles at firms including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Moelis, Morgan Stanley, as well as at hedge funds and private equity firms.
