The Marcella Foundation exists to unlock the full potential of youth and families in South Lake Tahoe.
We believe every child deserves the chance to feed their body, expand their mind, and lead their own future. That’s why we invest in bold, community-powered solutions across three core pillars: Feed, Read, and Lead
Feed – We tackle food insecurity through FeedTahoe, a growing hunger relief network that rescues and redistributes thousands of pounds of fresh, local food to neighbors in need.
Read – We expand access to literacy through early childhood book programs, community partnerships, and a districtwide campaign to boost grade-level reading.
Lead – We cultivate youth leadership and entrepreneurship through hands-on programs that help young people design, build, and launch ideas that matter.
We’re locally rooted and community driven — founded by Sean Fannan, a South Lake Tahoe native and tech entrepreneur, and led by a team committed to equity, creativity, and impact.
