The Facto Productions es una productora de formatos audiovisuales que nace para desvelar hechos de interés general a los que otros no pueden o no quieren llegar, articulando desde España metodologías y narrativas anglosajonas que la sitúan como un referente de producción informativa y audiovisual de calidad, valentía e independencia. Es dirigida por el periodista de investigación Tomás Ocaña Urwitz (Madrid, 1984), quien durante su etapa en Univision Investiga (2012-16), fue galardonado, entre otros, con tres premios Emmy (2014 y 2015), un Peabody Award (2013), un Premio IRE de la Asociación de Periodistas de Investigación de EE.UU. (2013), un Premio Gracie (2014), un Premio Ortega y Gasset de Periodismo (2015), un Premio Nacional de Periodismo de México (2016) y el galardón 'Hechos de Talento' en la categoría de Comunicación (2016). Ha sido pionero en la investigación del narcotraficante Joaquín 'Chapo' Guzmán. Miembro de la investigación global #PanamaPapers de la ICIJ , ganadora del Premio APM de Periodismo y del Premio Pulitzer (2017). El periodismo premiado: ocupa las portadas, llega al Congreso, cruza océanos, baja al bar.
