Tasmeem Middle East (tasmeemME) is the first regional online network dedicated to promoting and empowering Arab creative talent. Launched in 2009 initially as a part time project, it has now become the largest creative network in the region. We helped thousands of designers and talent (ranging from fresh college and high school graduates, stay-at-home moms, and aspiring designers) secure full full-time, part-time, or freelance employment.
In 2014, we shifted our focus to promoting Arabic content on the web to address the needs of our creative talent base. We offer a holistic approach that combines job matchmaking, online learning, collaboration and networking, and a digital marketplace, all in a one-stop-shop.
Our ambition is to cultivate and grow creative talent throughout the Arab world. We want to leverage the power of the web to train designers, promote Arabic content, and help secure employment and opportunity for creatives across the region.
In this day and age in a region that is desperate to look towards a more tolerant and inclusive future, it is crucial to spread and promote grass-root creative thinking. Building Arabic-focused online communities dedicated towards anyone with an interest in art and design across the Arab world not only helps nurture local talent, but also spreads creativity amongst the those who may otherwise never had access to it.
