Our Company name, Tabula, is derived from the Latin Tabula Rasa, which means “blank slate”. We have chosen the name “Tabula” because our devices are, in effect, “blank slates” for turning ideas into production silicon. In addition, we have tried to take a fresh, “blank slate” approach in creating the next stage of custom logic design.
Tabula’s mission is to provide customers with the best path from ideas to production silicon. Our technology is a result of a bold re-thinking of the entire process of custom hardware design, verification, and production. The creativity of our engineering team has resulted in over 150 patents pending in EDA, IC design, architecture, and advanced process technology. While our technology is disruptive in the industry, it is not disruptive to our customer’s design practices.
