The Swedish Chamber of Commerce for Eurasia (“the Chamber”) is an independent non-profit organization established in 1968. Our mission is to stimulate and promote trade between Sweden, Ukraine, Georgia and other CIS - countries as well as to act as a professional forum for exchange of experiences between companies and organizations covering most industries. Currently, the Chamber has over 65 member companies with vast experience from the Swedish, Eastern European and Central Asian markets. Our members represent most major areas of the economy, including banking, finance and other professional services, oil & gas, telecom, consumer goods, infrastructure, automotive and forestry, etc. As a member of the Chamber you will receive an independent overview of key industry trends, information about business opportunities and trade through our monthly newsletter (10 issues per year), as well as invitations to seminars and other events arranged by the Chamber and its partners. Furthermore, the Chamber offers a unique opportunity to increase your contact network with relevant corporate peers as well as official decision makers. The Chamber is governed by a board of fourteen (14) directors chosen from the member companies on an annual basis. The Chairman of the board since 2012 is Heinz Sjögren.
