Startup Tunisia is the name of the national program aiming to make Tunisia a country of Startups at the crossroads of the Mediterranean, the MENA region and Africa. This program is powered by Smart Capital, the company in charge of developing the Tunisian entrepreneurial galaxy by implementing all the components of Startup Tunisia. In this galaxy, you will find 3 main constellations: - The constellation of the Startups: These rising stars which are created each day and which develop quickly - The constellation of the Investors: These mature and evolved stars which feed the constellation of the Startups by bringing them the funds which they need to develop - The constellation of the Organizations of Support to the Ecosystems (OSE): These benevolent stars which orbit around the other constellations and which bring all the necessary support to the good development of each star. To boost these constellations, Startup Tunisia relies on 3 complementary pillars: - Startup Act: A unique legal framework dedicated to Startups that launch or settle in Tunisia. - Startup Invest: A new investment framework dedicated to Startups built around the ANAVA Fund of Funds with a target size of 200 M€ and supported by a GP incubator (management company) as well as a Guarantee Fund for Startups. - Startup Empower: A support framework for Ecosystem Support Organizations (ESOs) and Startups, focused on funding, animation and international connections.
