Spiral Hydrogen is building next-generation electrolyzers. Based on alkaline electrolyzers, we solve many core problems plaguing current systems. Our electrolyers have no gas bubbles, and achieve efficiencies up to 95%. We use rotation to pump our electrolyte, achiving current densities up to 3 A/cm². In addition, our stack cost is an order magnitude cheaper, due to a simplified stack design and longer lifetime. Our goal is to get the green hydrogen price below fossil hydrogen, unlocking a €250B market for decarbonization and making hydrogen transportation and heating commercially viable. We have validated our technology in lab conditions, raised 2.7M€ and are now building a pilot in the Port of Rotterdam.
