Space Innovation Canada is a federally incorporated non-profit with national scope and Prairie-anchored operations focused on helping close Canada’s late-stage technology validation and commercialization gap.
Our mission is to enable SMEs and applied research teams to validate and scale critical technologies from Canadian soil through structured, repeatable flight validation pathways across suborbital, high-altitude, high-velocity, and microgravity environments.
Canada invests heavily in early-stage innovation, yet many advanced technologies stall or transition abroad due to limited domestic pathways to demonstrate performance in real operating environments. As dual-use and defence-related investment increases, strengthening sovereign validation and execution capacity becomes essential to ensuring public investment translates into deployable capability and long-term economic benefit.
To address this, we are developing an integrated Access, Capability, Data, and Capital (ACDC) framework that coordinates testing access, supports advanced flight campaigns, retains and compounds mission data domestically, and aligns capital beyond early development. These pathways are designed to strengthen workforce immersion through live operations while building long-term sovereign validation capacity.
