Professional Sales is an on-campus program that offers students the opportunity to advance their careers by becoming better equipped to sell themselves, their products and services, or their businesses. Through the program, students learn the fundamentals of selling, how to manage sales, entrepreneurial skills, participate in competitions and networking events that can be applied to a variety of different careers. Our Mission Southern Utah University Professional Sales provides critical education for students to develop the skills and abilities necessary to succeed in sales-oriented professions at the highest levels of compensation. We achieve our mission through in-class and real life educational experiences that connects them with industry partners to pursue careers after graduation. Our Focus The Professional Sales program provides students a pathway in which they can study, learn, and practice sales skills that are essential to be successful in their chosen careers. In doing so, we focus on preparing students to confidently enter the workforce with industry partners from various backgrounds. Our Goal Our goal is twofold. Our first goal is to surpass current industry leader expectations in student development and career readiness and provide a workforce skilled in sales to new and existing organizations. Secondly, we aspire to become the leading professional sales program in the country.
