Since 2006, SolarTech has established itself as the leading statewide organization working collaboratively to integrate standards across six key solar market development areas: Permitting, Installation, Performance, Workforce, Interconnection, Finance In 2009, SolarTech reached over 6000 industry professionals as facilitating integrated, private/public collaborations through annual Summits and Symposiums across these core initiatives. SolarTech leverages their network of over 100 member companies, national & global firms on their Board of Directors, along with the California Public Utilities / California Solar Initiative Public Forums, and CSI Program Administrators to make solar happen faster. As the sole recipient of a California Energy Commission PIER Program Grant to lead development and dissemination of solar best practices, SolarTech reaches over 100 Cities regionally. SolarTech has established partnerships with leading organizations including Solar America Board of Codes & Standards (SolarABCs), Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC), North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP), and the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE).
