“More tech in social good, More social good in tech”
The Social Good Accelerator is a European association born from a collective initiative created during Web Summit 2017. Along with François Hollande, former French President, we are committed with our French & Portuguese delegation of associations, social entrepreneurs, social innovators and foundations, to working together to encourage Tech and Social Good actors and to creating innovative solutions in Europe. After the official launch in February 2018, the association consists of 40 active members and 2 main partners: Foundation La France s’engage and Société générale.
Our goal is to create bridges between
- Social Innovation actors: accelerating social innovation through digital transition
- Tech Players: connecting them with societal issues
We choose economic and political advocacy as a means of action and wants to be a one-stop shop for all the actors who carry or want to contribute more to the social innovation in Europe. We believe that there is a need to encourage and facilitate collaboration between "traditional" economic actors of innovation and social innovators to accelerate change in Europe and strengthen the "raison d’être" of the European Union.
