Our proven, fuel-agnostic clean technology, the Silverstream® System, can be fitted to new and existing vessels to improve efficiency, energy consumption and reduce harmful emissions. We believe that air lubrication will become a standard design feature on all newbuild vessels entering the global fleet, as well as being considered a must-have solution to improve the efficiency of existing vessels. The Silverstream® System generates a uniform carpet of microbubbles that reduces frictional resistance between the hull and the water, thus significantly reducing the propulsion energy required to move ships. Our technology unlocks a proven 5-10% net fuel and emissions saving, depending on vessel type. The Silverstream® System is suitable for a wide range of vessel types and our technology is adopted by market leaders including MSC, Shell, Carnival, Grimaldi, Maersk, Hyundai Heavy Industries and Vale.
