This YOUTH CODERS club is open to any student from Silicon Valley who is interested in coding.
Here is what we hope to do at our weekly gathering.
1) Get the Silicon Valley industry technology perspective by inviting executive leadership to present their thoughts.
2) Run hands-on sessions – primarily led by a youth programmers and youth leaders for enhanced learning
3) Provide homework learning after each class – where each of us can continue the learning at home. The idea is to learn from each other. The collaboration continues through the week... learning and fun
4) Create projects for the community – where we are building an app. This would be a larger scale project, almost like creating a business model, approaching sponsors, getting funding at times, and together as a team building a software application or an app that will fix an issue we have.
5) Hold an annual Tech Conference with panel discussions, hackathon, industry insight, lab sessions and more.
