Sila Atlantik

Sila Atlantik is an intercontinental energy project that is planning to exchange renewable power between Morocco and Germany via two high-voltage direct current (HVDC) subsea cables. By leveraging Morocco’s regular trade winds and high solar radiation, combined with battery storage, Sila Atlantik can deliver what no other project can at comparable price and scale: reliable (7,000 full-load hours) and flexible clean power contributing to Europe’s security of supply and energy resilience and to large industries’ decarbonisation in Morocco.
