Senditoo’s mission is to leverage remittances to drive financial inclusion in Africa and beyond. I In 2016 we started as a cross border airtime transfer startup connected to 550 telcos across 150 countries. Expanded our services to money transfer in 2019 and grew 400x YOY. Our customers now have the choice to send targeted support to loved ones in Africa and beyond, be it mobile money, airtime, bill payment and groceries. In 2021, at the peak of COVID-19 we embarked in the second phase of our mission, that of digitising distribution networks for an efficient channeling of inbound remittances. In practical terms, our impact translates to increased flow of remittance from the diaspora to the continent, managed distribution of mobile money cash-in / cash-out, disbursements, collections, agency banking …. Our mission has led us to unintentionally be at the intersection of remittances and the multitude of mobile wallets. We are crystal focused on building an aggregation of mobile wallets, banks and financial institutions in an interoperable platform to capture and distribute inflows of remittance to drive more financial inclusion.
