Screenrights is a non-profit membership organisation that provides rights and royalty management services to the screen industry, and simple licensing solutions for teachers in education, administrators in government, and subscription TV retransmitters to access broadcast programs. From the licence fees we provide royalty payments to our members for the programs audiences love. ~~~~~~ SCREEN INDUSTRY Screenrights collects royalties for uses of audiovisual works where it is difficult or impossible to license on an individual basis. These royalties come from: - Educational use - Government use - Pay TV retransmission In addition, we provide these services for screen businesses: - Worldwide royalty collection - Film & TV disbursements - Residuals management As well as our ongoing advocacy work and our annual Cultural Fund grants. ~~~~~~~ ACCESS TO SCREEN CONTENT Screenrights licenses the use of broadcast content from television and radio through: - Australian licences for educators, government and retransmission - New Zealand licence for educators Resource centres such as ClickView, eTV, TV 4 Education and Informit EduTV use Screenrights educational licenses to copy content into online streaming services that help teachers make best use of educational content. ~~~~~~ Screenrights is the trading name of Audio Visual Copyright Society.
