Science Ashram is an Education and Research Organization started in 2014 by a group of engineers who felt the need for practical education in India. Kids learn applied science by building projects at Science Ashram. Science Ashram opens its tinkering lab for young minds encouraging them to build their projects from the ground up. Children use the space, tools and materials from our exhaustive inventory and tinker with their ideas. At Science Ashram children are asked to identify real-world problems, design solutions and engineer prototypes. Science Ashram has set-up ‘Tinkering Space’ (Tinkering Lab) in Bangalore, Coorg and Mysore, where over 6000 students are involved in Maker Class Program.
