SAA is with its bases, which are spread across Sweden, Norway and Finland, one of Scandinavia's largest air ambulance company. The development in Sweden with the centralization of specialist care to certain hospitals increases the need for transports between hospitals. This results in higher requirements for the medical care during transport. Our vision is that we shall through continuous development seek to enhance the service and be market leader within the company chosen segments. This position will be obtained through continuous focus on quality, team effort and active marketing. SAA operates with two licenses, Air Operator Certificates (AOC). For the helicopter operations, it is Scandinavian MediCopter and for the airplane operations it is Scandinavian AirAmbulance. The commercial name for the entire Group is Scandinavian AirAmbulance.
